NEWS about RaspAnd 7.1.2 Build 171220/171215
Thanks to a member on this site who asked for support for the Raspberry Pi official 7 inch touchscreen I started to experiment with different configurations. Success! The changes are so good that I’ve decided to uploaded a new version of RaspAnd today. Note: The display size have changed from 1280×720 to 1920×1080, which means that RaspAnd will look better also when using Big TV screens. Screenshot when a Samsung 55 inch TV is used as monitor. In Build 171220 I’ve also included the app Quick Reboot Pro (so you don’t have to use the power switch).
Build 171220 of RaspAnd can be downloaded by those who have purchased Build 171215 (and previous versions of RaspAnd 7.1.2).

Hello! (excuse me for my english)
I’ ve recently installed this android version on a Rpi3, it works fine with a laptop lcd screen over hdmi, but when i connect it to a Panasonic 49″ tv screen doesn’t work (no image is displayed).
I’ ve tested with diferents hdmi configurations changed in the config.txt file, but i can’t make it works.
I have another sd-card with raspbian and it works fine with this screen, I’ve tryed coping the hdmi settings of this distro, but doesn’t work:
hdmi_force_hotplug=1
hdmi_drive=2
config_hdmi_boost=4
hdmi_group=1
hdmi_mode=31
Of course I’ve tryed another…
hdmi_force_hotplug=1
hdmi_drive=2
config_hdmi_boost=4
hdmi_group=1
hdmi_mode=16, 18, 19, 20, 31 and 32
sometimes with hdmi_force_mode=1
I’ve tryed some resolutions with overscan too.
I’m need your help, please. A lot of thanks.
and nothing was displayed (with the initial color screen exception)
I don’t know what to suggest. I’ve tried to configure RaspAnd so that most screens can be used, but…
Thank’s for your reply, it’s secure, or usefull, to probe increasing config_hdmi_boost (of course below 11)?
Thank you
Were you able to resolve the issue?
nice information about RaspAnd 7.1.2 . really valuable for me. check out here https://androlee.com and get the apk downloader and easily get any apk download
A great release man! Everything works fine but Quick Reboot Pro! It would be awesome to shutdown and reboot my Rpi3 with this app, but I need root permission! Is there something to do about it? Thanks for your work 🙂
Yes. Go to Settings/Developer options and enable Root access. To be able to do that you’ll have to enable Developer options first. Go to Settings/About table and click on “Build number” about six times.
*EDIT*
My bad! There are the istructions in the description…
Were you able to resolve the issue?
oh i bought an android img long time ago.
I did put it on msd card but it did not start.
perhaps i made sth wrong.
Is this better than Emteria? (could not login)
For RPI 3b+ i mean!
My best version for Rpi 3 Model B (not B+) is RaspAnd 7.1.2 Build 180529.
Only RaspAnd Oreo 8.1 Build 180717 works on the “new” Rpi 3 Model B+. The system is considered “experimental”.
Better than Emteria? I don’t know.
Yesterday I installed raspand-oreo-8.1-lineage-gapps-578mb-180717.zip on a 32gb SD for my Raspberry Pi 3B+ with 7” touchscreen. The installation worked fine, but after some time, when the display goes out, I can’t use the Pi anymore.
Is there a way to “unlock” or “wake up” the device via touch?
I don’t want to connect a keyboard or mouse to it.
thanks in advance!
is there also a way to get the 7″ display working on raspberry pi 2 model b?
Try with my new version released today. Previous versions couldn’t run on a Rpi2.
